The final week of The Block is here!
The final week of The Block 2018 has arrived and we thought we would take a look back at some of the highlights of the two hockingstuart apartments heading for the hammer this Sunday.
Both sales campaigns have been managed by agents Sam Inan, Steph Evans and Emily Adams and while they are likely to attract very different buyers in the luxury market, here at hockingstuart we believe they truly offer #bestofbothworlds.
Kerrie & Spence - The Selling Points
South Australia couple Kerrie & Spence became this year’s self-confessed ‘perfectionists’ but their attention to detail and ability to continuously impress the judges in each reveal was on show from day one.
Despite early criticism for picking one of the least favoured apartments in The Block, the couple started strong with a win in their luxury Master Ensuite. The marble vanity top, herringbone tiles and matte-black finishes impressed all three judges, who also loved the storage! They said it’s something buyers in this market will love as well.
However, it was their Kitchen which became the ultimate talking point late in the season. It’s the sort of kitchen that dreams are made of.
With top-of-the range Gaggenau appliances worth thousands, amazing Sub Zero fridges and a Butler’s Pantry big enough to cater for a wedding, the judges instantly fell in love with a space which they believed gave heart and soul to the entire apartment.
The couple continued to finish strong, revealing a spectacular outdoor terrace that carried through the luxury of their dramatic Coffered ceiling from the Living & Dining area as well as a jaw-dropping Hallway which earned them even more praise from both Shayna & Darren.
Norm & Jess - The Selling Points
Queensland couple Jess & Norm were quick to become both show favourites as well as show underdogs.
But they were fortunate early to get one of the spectacular Penthouses on offer and according to the Buyer’s Advocates this will pay off for them in a big way come auction day on Sunday. They believe this is the sort of position that luxury buyers want.
Their final reveal of their magical Terrace also earned them their first win of the series. They certainly left their best-reveal-to-last, unveiling an outdoor entertaining area which left the judges speechless.
Complete with sweeping city views, buyers will find it difficult to look past spending warm summer evenings dining out here with both friends and family.
When you step inside their Living & Dining space, it only gets better. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a dramatic suspended fireplace set over a marble hearth, these are the features that give this Penthouse apartment the luxury touches it deserves.
