Still the most affordable pocket within 10km of the CBD, the inner west is seeing huge amounts of development in terms of apartment developments and house and land packages, attracting investors and owner occupiers equally. With many homes in the inner west built during the middle of the last century, investors will continue to preference developments over fixer-uppers so they can lease out immediately.
